Logan Group Successfully Issues 6-year Notes at Record-low Coupon Rate of 4.85%

(China / Hong Kong, 8 December 2020) Logan Group (3380.HK) has announced that the Company successfully issued US$300 million of senior notes due 2026, with an annual coupon rate of 4.85%, which is among the lowest coupon rates and longest maturity of the same-rated real estate company bonds recently. The issuance also achieved a new record of Logan Group’s offshore bonds. The successful issuance once again demonstrates that the capital market recognizes Logan Group’s steady financial management and performance growth.
The issuance received an overwhelming response from the capital market and was close to 12 times over-subscribed by a large number of renowned long-term institutional investors. The issuance finally priced at a yield of 4.85%, which was significantly narrower than the initial price guide by 50 basis points. Deutsche Bank, Guotai Junan International, Haitong International, China CITIC Bank International, Credit Suisse, BOC International, Barclays, BNP PARIBAS, CMBC Capital are the joint global coordinators and joint lead managers in respect of the offer and sale of the notes.
The successful issuance of this longer-term bonds highlights that with the implementation of new financing management rules for real estate companies and the differentiated industry, investors are confident in financially secure high-quality real estate companies and are optimistic about Logan Group’s future development and risk resistance capabilities. Logan Group’s management believes that the successful issuance of the senior notes will further optimize the debt structure, improve financial stability, and provide strong support for the cross-cycle high-quality development of the Company.

The international rating agencies Standard & Poor's and Fitch have both affirmed the Company's credit ratings at "BB", with stable outlook.
