Logan Wins Award of Excellence in Corporate Governance

(China / Hong Kong, December 11, 2020) Logan Group (3380.HK) won the Award of Excellence in Corporate Governance at the Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards 2020 on December 10. The Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards 2020 was conferred by the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies (CHKLC) and the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy, Hong Kong Baptist University (CCGFP). Logan Group participated in the awards for the first time. The Group’s win showcases that its corporate governance and sustainable development stand out among its peers and have been recognized by key authorities Hong Kong.

The prestigious Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards, inaugurated in 2007, honors listed companies that have made outstanding achievements in shareholder rights, compliance, integrity, fairness, responsibility, accountability, transparency, board independence and leadership, and corporate social responsibility, to promote the long-term development of corporate governance. The award evaluation process is rigorous and objective. The award committee conducts independent evaluations of participating companies based on the eight measurements of corporate governance and sustainable performance.

In judges’ comments, the judging panel said, “Logan Group spares no effort in corporate governance and sustainability initiatives, which left a strong impression on the judging panel.”

The judging panel further emphasized that the visionary leadership of the Board helped Logan Group achieve high standards and business growth during the pandemic.

The awards also raise the level of corporate governance and sustainability in Hong Kong by promoting the best practices and accomplishments of listed companies. Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, Securities and Futures Commission and HKEX are among the supporting organizations for the selection. A total of 13 companies won the awards this year.
